Who can apply for a Certificate ?
To apply for a marriage certificate in the state of Uttarakhand,the applicant needs to satisfy the following eligibility.
- The groom must be 21 years of age and above.
- The bride should be 18 years and above.
- The applicant needs to be a Permanent resident of Uttarakhand.
Documents Required for Marriage Registration
The required documents have to be submitted with the application form.
1)- Proof of MARRIAGE Wedding Invitation
- Temple / Church Marriage Receipts
- Any proof of marriage solemnization
2.Proof of RESIDENCE Voter Id Card
- Ration Card
- Driving License
- Passport or Visa
3.Proof of AGE Birth Certificate
- School /college certificate
- Passport or Visa
4.Proof of WITNESS Id card for minimum two witness to be produced
Application Fees :-
- Fee of 100 Rupees, In case the application is made within ninety days from the date of sloemnization of marriage it shall be paid in cash to the registering officer.
- Fee of 200 Rupees, In case the application is made after ninety days from the date of sloemnization of marriage it shall be paid in cash to the registering officer
- For receiving a copy of marriage registration certificate,the fees shall be 50 Rupees to be paid in cash to the registering officer
Application for certified copy:-
Application for certified copy a court fee of Rupee 1/- shall be affixed to it and 10 Rupees stamp fee shall be payable. For ordinary copy, fee payable shall be 25 Rupees, the copy shall be provided within a week fee for urgent copy shall be 50 Rupeess and it shall be provided within three days. For very urgent copy the fee shall be 100 Rupeess and it shall be provided within next day.
Inspection Fees :-(10 Rupees is to be paid as application fee in addition to inspection fee):-
- 25 Rupees, In case the entry is for current year.
- 50 Rupees, In case the entry is for previous year. Similarly 10 Rupees extra for every previous year.
